Join Project Art Works as we launch our activation of the ground floor of 12 Claremont in Hastings as a gallery, workshop and event space, and shop. 12 Claremont has been beautifully restored and refurbished by Hastings Commons and will serve as a vibrant hub for creativity, inclusion, and community engagement. Project Art Works In Residence is an activation of the space over 7 months between November 2025 and May 2026. We will deliver a programme of exhibitions, collaborations and events promoting the vibrancy and richness of diverse representation in contemporary art practice. Opening with a group show of artworks from the Project Art Works archive, artists will lead events and workshops, interacting with audiences, the environment and the wider ecosystem of buildings, people and spaces of Hastings Commons and 12 Claremont.
From the 7 November our opening hours will be 11.00 - 16.00 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. No appointment necessary.
