About this Event
Birmingham Children's Hospital, with the support of BCH Charities and Taha Publishng have launched what we think is the first Islamic Child Bereavement Journal designed to help parents and families explore and process the loss of a child. The launch and lunch will take place in the Conservatory at BCH and the author , Zamir Hussain and publishers will be available to talk to and there will be other resources to view. This takes place between 12 and 2 on a drop in basis.
From 2-3.30 we will move to our Education Centre and share how to use the journal, launch new digital resources - virtual 360 training rooms focusing particularly on religious care in a paediatric and maternity context. We would also like to consult participants on future resource development. Taha publishing will also be giving information about the future publication of two Islamic miscarriage resources that BWCH are developing in partnership with them. Tickets for consultation limited to 20.
