About this Event
Launch Hoofddorp: your local community for founders, innovators, and changemakers in and around Hoofddorp. Come join us, attendance is free of charge!
After a successful first event in December, aiming for 10 participants and attracting 17 from industries such as defense, cybersecurity, banking, health care, maritime transportation, agricultural technology, sustainability, venture building and consulting, we have outgrown our previous location, and found an exciting, new place to host our next event.
On the last Friday of the month, February 28th, 11:00 - 13:00, we will host our second networking event to meet founders, innovators, and changemakers, at the “All-Day Restobar” Kastan, in the business park Boekenhorst West.
Just 350 m (a 5 minute walk) from Hoofddorp station, easily reachable by bus or train, we will meet in right in the middle of where many innovative corporations are located. For those of you visiting us from outside of Hoofddorp and coming by car, paid parking is available at the Neptunusgarage at 2 minutes walking (€ 0.55 for the first half hour + € 3.10 for the next hour + € 3.50 for each following hour) or at the P+R Hoofddorp at 4 minutes walking (€ 0.11 per 3 minutes of € 2.20 per hour). Hoofddorp station is just 11 minutes by train from station Amsterdam Zuid WTC, 16 minutes from station Amsterdam Sloterdijk, and 27 minutes by bus (every 10 minutes) from the center of Haarlem.
Please order a drink upon entering Kastan and then meet us upstairs, we’ve got the whole upper floor reserved. For this event, we’ve got no presentations planned; the goal is for you to meet likeminded innovative people, and we’ll make sure to make it easy for you to meet others. If your schedule allows it, feel free to stick around for lunch!
