DPISD is having an elementary parent engagement night on Sept. 30 called LAUNCH AND LEARN. The main focus will be on our new elementary reading and math programs and showing parents how they can support their kids at home.
Parents can also join our small breakout sessions. They will cover topics like Parent Square, A.I. in the classroom, Accessing the Parent Portal, Interpreting STAAR Report Cards, Bilingual Assessments, Bilingual Classroom Instruction, Special Services, and more. There’s something for everyone, and parents will be able to learn and ask questions in a small group setting!
There will be community vendors and fun activities for kids, too!
The event takes place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Deer Park High School-South Campus!
