We all feel stress every day but the holiday season tends to give us an extra serving because of our holiday shopping, cooking, time with family that might be very emotional, and so on. It's a good time to enjoy some healing laughter!Join Laugh to Live founder and certified laughter yoga leader Jeannine Luby for some uplifting and stress-relieving laughter exercises before we take a walk around Connell Park.
What is laughter yoga and what isn't it? We will NOT use a yoga mat. You do not need to wear fitness clothes or touch your toes. We will do a lot of breathing, clapping, chanting ho ho ha ha ha and laughing. It will be fun, feel good and provide your body with many benefits like lowering stress hormones, lifting immune system and boosting mood, brain function and "feel good" hormones to help manage pain, and so much more.
The event is free and open to the public.
