Please save the date for the Latvian midsummer celebration – Jāņi!On June 26th, 2021 we will gather at the Lāči residence in Fayetteville, GA to sing, dance, make flower crowns, and much more to celebrate the shortest night of the summer with fellow Georgia Latvians and friends. Those who would like to stay overnight are welcome to bring their tents.
Bring your favorite Jāņi dish to share, potluck style! Water and soft drinks provided. A small donation of $10/individual or $20/family is appreciated to facilitate the event. Donations can be made at the event (cash) or before hand using the PayPal link (http://paypal.me/atlantalatvians).
Please remember to bring camping chairs for your comfort and flowers for flower crowns if you’d like to make them.
