Celebrate the season with the Carmel/Jelgava Sister City Caroling event, now officially expanded by the City of Carmel! This festive tradition brings the entire Sister City community together at the Gazebo for an evening of music, cheer, and holiday spirit.This year’s event will be extra special, featuring:
-Performances from international youth choirs, including French, Italian, Greek, Chinese, and Indian groups
-A hot chocolate and coffee truck
-The Carmel Fire Department Christmas Truck
-A visit from Santa
Each choir will have the opportunity to sing 4–6 songs, depending on participation.
We’re thrilled that Ivo and Dagnija will lead and organize the Latvian caroling. Song sheets will be provided, and we’re hoping to gather a lively, joyful group from the Latvian community to join the sing-along, share our traditions, and show appreciation to the City for hosting this beloved event.

If you want to get in the holiday spirit early, join us beforehand at Christkindlmarkt to shop, warm up, and soak in the festive atmosphere before heading to the Gazebo.
