About this Event
This is a latte art battle! Baristas face off in a fun, friendly showdown for the title of champion, and some sweet prizes ofc. In association with Moma and our good pals Podda & Wren, we will be hosting this competition down at No-Hands Rest Coffeehouse, down by the riverside! The BBQ will be on and a whole lot of creativity, fun and head-to-head battles will be going down as well as an afterparty!
If you are looking to compete, here's what you need to know:
- Feel free to bring your own jugs or use ours.
- Two baristas at a time. - Roll the dice to begin & choose design 3. Crew will be making your expresso shots.
- Steam your own milk.
- Pour your best latte art.
- Cup handle to the right-hand side.
- Put it forward.
- Leftover milk should be poured into the glass at the front.
Our judges will be on the lookout for the milk’s texture, good contrast of colour, fullness of cup, symmetry, definition of pattern and any milk wastage. We're all about creating a welcoming atmosphere, so don't hesitate to showcase your talents. Plus, our judges are eagerly awaiting your unique creations, and remember, their final decision is all part of the fun! Competitors are on a first come first save basis so be sure to get your ticket ASAP.
