About this Event

Welcome to Day 2 of the Latinx Pride Festival - Melbourne, Australia 2026.

Join us at the Victorian Pride Centre on Sunday, 22 February 2026, from 11:00 AM. Get ready for a full-day of celebration with services, arts, community, film, dance, drag, and Latin American flavours. Let’s come together to honour and embrace Latinx heritage and LGBTQIA+ pride.

We’d also like to welcome our friends, allies, and diverse communities.

Presented by LAHRC - the Latin American & Hispanic Rainbow Community, with the auspice of Living Positive Victoria. Produced by Pink Dolphin Group Entertainment, and Branding and Strategic Communications by HM.

Info: Queer Salsa Bachata Australia is here! Come as you are, dance how you feel. No partner needed, just bring your beautiful self and a willingness to move. Silvana León is a Chilean-born dancer based in Australia. Raised by dancer parents, movement has always been part of her life. Since 2013, she has specialised in salsa and bachata, competing nationally and internationally, and now shares her passion through teaching with a focus on culture, emotion, and connection. Laura Represa is a Melbourne-based bachata dancer originally from Spain. Her classes centre on connection, musicality, and feeling at home in your body, beyond roles and expectations. With a background in movement training, Laura creates joyful, inclusive spaces for authentic social dance.

Info: This photographic and audiovisual project explores the layers of identity and intersectionality experienced by LGBTIQA+ Latinx people living in Australia. Photographer Arun Ernesto Muñoz skillfully captures these narratives, offering a unique perspective that allows participants to present themselves authentically, sharing their lives and new realities as migrants.

Info: A high-energy celebration of queer Latinx culture with a strong Colombian soul, where sabor, rhythm, and alegría take over the afternoon. Inspired by Latin beats and underground perreo, each edition becomes a colorful encuentro of drag, live vocals, DJs, and performers who bring pure fuego to the dance floor.

Host: Zalina (ROOFTOP PARTY)

Info: Born in Bogotá and based in Melbourne, Zalina blends reggaeton, dembow, cumbiaton, guaracha, Brazilian funk and bass-heavy electronic sounds into high-energy, underground Latin sets.

In March 2025, she founded Chuleo Club, an inclusive platform celebrating reggaeton and its subgenres, uniting Latin, Australian and queer communities. Chuleo Club has hosted international artists such as Rosa Pistola (MX), Badsista (BR) and Manuka Honey (US).

Zalina has played at iconic venues including The Night Cat, Miscellania and Northcote Theatre, delivering sexy, sweaty sets filled with heat, groove and crowd connection.
