An exhibition of original world dolls from numerous Latin America countries (Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Honduras, Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, and others) The aims of the event are:• To foster an understanding of the cultures and economies of Latin American countries, in particular the differences between these nations;
• To promote a positive image of the current and future role of women in Latin American societies;
• To enhance Latin American musical tradition and emphasise its connections with Spanish culture;
• To raise awareness of the work of SOMOSCR, a Manchester based charity supporting Spanish speakers in the North West of England;
• To tie in with events connected with Día de la Hispanidad on 12 October;
