About this Event
The Rico Monaco Band with special guest star Tito Puente Jr. will headline Casselberry’s Latin Jazz and Art Festival on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lake Concord Park behind City Hall at 95 Triplet Lake Drive.
Monaco is an award-winning guitarist, songwriter, producer, and band leader. He has led his band with great success to shows in Paris, France, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and many other concert locations.
Rico’s performance abilities, songwriting and production skills paved the way for his band to win numerous awards. Rico Monaco Band’s record release in 2019 with special guest star, Tito Puente Jr., features the title song "Hey Tito", as a tribute to the late great Tito Puente.
Puente Jr. carries the maestro’s name, infectious smile, larger than life spirit, bravura showmanship and passion for sharing Latin jazz with the world. His determination to continue his dad’s momentum exposes the big band mamba sounds to those who did not experience the essence of Latin music created by his father.
Besides the music, there will a big Latin Art Exhibit at City Hall entitled “Arte Eleva” (Art Elevates). This colorful exhibit will feature Florida’s most renowned Latin Artists.
