La Vida began as Latin Dance Kingston, and our passion for Latin dance is still at the
heart of what we do. All classes are held in our upper-level dance studio, where
we teach the most popular Latin styles: Salsa and Bachata.
Our focus is on fun and social dancing. We teach solid fundamentals to get you moving confidently on the dance floor, and we create an encouraging space where every class feels like the best night of your week.
Our lead instructor, Alexei, brings over 20 years of dance and teaching experience to every class. Most Fridays, we host a Latin Dance Social — a fun, welcoming space to practice what you've learned and connect with others. These socials are included with your registration.

MONDAYS
6:00–7:00 PM – Absolute Beginner Bachata
No experience needed. Solo or partner welcome. Learn the basics of Bachata in a fun, social environment.
7:00-8:00PM - Absolute Beginner Salsa
No experience needed. Solo or partnered, learn the basics of salsa.
TUESDAYS
6:00-7:00 - Bachata Level 2
For those that know the basics and want to add on patterns and more complex styling.
7:00–8:00 PM – Salsa – Level 2
For dancers who know the basics. Focus on patterns, styling, and confidence on the social dance floor.
WEDNESDAYS
6:00–7:00 PM – Salsa Buddies (Parent & Child)
For kids aged 8–16 with an adult guardian. Learn Salsa together—one leads, one follows. Fun, easy, and a great bonding activity!
Intermediate Salsa - Details to come.
7:00-8:00 PM - Intermediate Salsa with Maria and Alex. This class if for those who have a firm grasp of the basics, can follow or lead many patterns.
FRIDAYS
Rueda - Intermediate at 6:30 to 7:15
Rueda - Beginner at 7:15 to 8:00PM
Latin Dance Social from 8 to 10PM
Included with your class registration! Come practice what you’ve learned in a fun, supportive environment open to all dancers.
