The third Latin Core event in Fuchs2 will be a special one on Friday, February 14. We invited some of the most interesting DJs to create a soundtrack for Saint Valentine's Day. It will be a multi-genre night full of energetic, romantic, and unique musical combinations. King Kami is a Brazilian DJ living in Lisbon, Portugal. From her start spinning Brazilian funk at Lisbon college parties in 2016, Kami has risen to become an undeniable presence in the city's clubbing circuit. Resident on Radio Quantica, her sets explore the music of northeast Brazil, inspired by the romanticism of synths, brega rhythms and mixed with funk. A few days ago King Kami released a short EP Sons de Saída with Holandês, where they blended their Brazilian roots with an energetic infusion of breaks and rhythms like footwork and jungle. King Kami played at prestigious festivals such as Sonar, Primavera, Trans Musicales, Horst, Roskilde, and Boiler Room in Porto and Lisbon.
Francisco Corredor aka CRRDR is a multidisciplinary artist raised in Colombia, and based in Berlin. Founder of Trampa label and co-founder and producer of Muakk. He has developed a proposal based on the exploration of Latin rhythms with electronic music, creating sets that assemble the tribal rhythms and always going through different amalgamations of Latin club music looking to play with the ears of the listeners, highlighting his sound being a pioneer of Latin Tekno and Latin Core movement.
A.Bot One is a Puerto Rican DJ and producer living in Prague. Inspired by the Latin Core movement, he is experimenting with the fusion of electronic music and various musical genres coming from Puerto Rico and Latin America.
AVHD will open the night with a warm-up set. With a foundation in techno and trance, AVHD (co-founder of the @thekitchencoll) builds sonic landscapes that are both powerful and globally resonant. His music incorporates bass, electro, breakbeat, dubstep, and experimental sounds, interwoven with influences from rap, grime, and Indian/Middle Eastern music. The result is an immersive atmosphere that moves audiences in unexpected ways.
KTVA (Kristýna Coufalová) studied fashion design and started DJing for fashion shows, including the Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week. She selects music for specific moments, merging underground and mainstream, art and pop elements, to create the perfect atmosphere. After supervising music selection for the Love Island series, she will play a unique set in Fuchs2.
