It is a film full of love, adventure and decisions that changed the course of the characters’ lives.
Martin and Margot are two writers traveling through Guatemala to find La Bestia, the mythological poet that brought them together. They start their journey in an old rickety Land Rover jeep in a constant need of repair, with a low budget that they cannot afford.
What begins as an adventure, soon takes a downward turn with an unexpected pregnancy that changes their perspective of one another and threatens their purpose. Amid their internal chaos and frenzied writing, they are soon confronted with responsibility they cannot run away from, and are faced with choices that may tear them apart in a way that neither Margot nor Martin can fix.
