Growing plants from seed is an exciting and economical way to grow plants that may not be available locally. Practicing the basic principles of seed starting leads to successful outcomes. Colleen Donahue has been a Master Gardener for over ten years. If you have admired the annual bed next to the parking lot, you have seen the results of Colleen’s seed starting passion, because each year she grows all 300 plants from seed. She is eager to share her knowledge and experience with other gardeners. Workshop will include a presentation as well as hands-on seed starting.
