A backyard foraging workshop will be held Saturday, May 18, 9:30 am – 11:30 am, 1465 Irving Street. It will include foraging guidelines and safety tips and attention to three of the late spring plants: Lamb’s Quarters (Chenopodium album), Japanese Honeysuckle (Lorincera japonica), and Roses (Genus Rosa). Learning about the bounty at our feet is a game changer, as well as our birthright.
The workshop guide, Judith Steelman has studied"Herbal Medicine Making" and "Foraging Edible and Medicinal Wild Herbs" through the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine.
