About this Event
Unwind and recharge with an all-levels yoga class led by Lauren Cooper, held at the library inside the Palmer Museum. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your practice, all are welcome.
Yoga mats will be provided, but feel free to bring your own mat and a beach towel for added comfort.

Lauren Cooper has been practicing vinyasa yoga for over 20 years. Early on, she dabbled in classes here and there. About 11 years ago while living in NYC, Lauren became a regular at a local studio where her practice grew substantially stronger, both physically and spiritually. Deeply inspired by her then teachers, the possibility of teaching stayed in the back of her mind. She hoped to one day share the powerful benefits of yoga with others in the same positive and supportive way her instructors had shared with her. A few years (and studios) later, everything aligned when Lauren completed her 200-hour RYT certification at Three Birds Yoga Studio in South Orange, NJ.
Lauren's style of teaching is intentionally sequenced movements linked with breath. She is a firm believer that how your yoga practice feels on the inside is more important than how it looks on the outside. Modifications and props are always incorporated and encouraged throughout class to ensure poses feel accessible, allowing students to achieve an individualized and impactful practice that is right for them.
