Come celebrate Stony Creek Farmers Market's last market of the season with us with a class on Late Fall Foraging! Come sip on some medicinal mushroom tea while learning how to ID late fall edible and Medicinals. This class will be co-taught by founder of eattheplanet.org Joe Ross and CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers. Participants will learn how to identify and utilize edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms that can be found this time of year.
Class will consist of a 45 minute lecture where you will learn how to differentiate edible species from any toxic look-a-likes. We will then go on a 45 minute walk where we will practice plant and mushroom ID.
This class will be $30 per person. To reserve a spot, email [email protected] with the full name of all participants.
You will be sent out an email the day before the class with further details.
We will run the class rain or shine.
