What to Expect

No matter if you're getting married soon or in a long-term marriage, you'll learn something new about traditional Chinese marriages when you meet Jenny Zheng! Finding her calling after a happenstance meeting with wedding planners, Jenny has been running the shop for over 20 years, and has become an expert on Chinese marriage traditions, down to the minute differences between dialect groups. Imagine her joy when customers return years later - sometimes with children in tow - to thank her for her work!

  • Everyone is welcome to participate!
  • Participants 12 years and under must be accompained and surpervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

  • Approximate Duration: 45 mins (Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour for registration)
  • Language: Mandarin with English Translation
  • Meeting Point: Meet at K.K Marriage Goods 佳佳結婚用品 (#01-180/187/188) within Level 1 Red Zone of the Chinatown Complex Market and Food Centre (335 Smith St, Singapore 050335)
  • Ending Point: The event will start and end at the same point.
  • The events will proceed rain or shine.

What to bring?

  • Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and wear covered shoes.
  • Participants should bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
  • Please ensure that you bring along any personal Medic*tion. Asthmatic individuals are reminded to bring their inhaler.

  • Parking is available at Chinatown Complex. Alternative parking is available at Chinatown Point and Maxwell Food Centre.
  • The venue is wheelchair friendly.
  • Photography is allowed during the event.
