The Writers Guild at Bloomington presents Last Sunday Poetry, featuring Doris Lynch and Nancy Chen Long.DORIS JEAN LYNCH has recent work in Flying Island, Modern Haiku, Acorn, Stormwash: Environmental Poems, Wales Haiku Journal, and Contemporary Haibun Online. Her poems are forthcoming in I-70 Review and Poetry Pea. Lynch’s collection of poems Swimming to Alaska, which details her year living in an Alaskan arctic village, came out in 2023, as did Media Hound, her first collection of haibun.

NANCY CHEN LONG is the author of Wider than the Sky (Diode Editions, 2020), which was selected for the Diode Editions Book Award, and Light into Bodies (University of Tampa Press, 2017), winner of the Tampa Review Prize for Poetry. Her poetry has been supported by a National Endowment of the Arts Creative Writing Fellowship in poetry and the Poetry Society of America Robert H. Winner Award. She works at Indiana University in the Research Technologies division.
