Like a composed score for a film, a live-scored Contact Improv Jam is more than simply music added to a time-based experience. Each live-score is a uniquely purposeful, poetically context-specific composition, sensitively improvised and delivered in real-time to upgrade the qualitative nature of the unpredictably diverse spectrum of personalities, movements, pathways, collaborations, moods and rhythms that defines any given Contact Improv Jam.
Without a doubt one of the most consistently challenging group experiences to live-score, it is also consistently one of the most comprehensively rewarding... knowing everyone is improvising, courageously taking movement-based risks, frames all my music-based risks not simply as worth exploring but as a privilege to be doing so together.

Founded in 2002, The Antenna Project provides instrumental live-scores (improvised context-specific audio compositions) for all variety of experiences. Amplified electric guitar, an effects pedal and various methods of interfacing are used to create full-registered music ranging from subdued waves of droning minimalism to exuberantly celebratory maximalism.
