LAST PERSON STANDING!On Sunday, March 2nd, Cranks is hosting “Last Person Standing.” This is a unique opportunity to push your limits, get an intense workout in, and have an amazing day at Cranks!
The concept works as follows:
The goal is to complete as many laps as possible on this route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3321777050754359732
Mix of Gravel and Road surface.
Participants must be ready to start a new lap every hour on the hour.
The first lap starts at 7:00 AM, the next at 8:00 AM, the third at 9:00 AM, and so on.
The finish line will be located just before the window into the Cranks workshop, while the starting line will be approximately 100 meters ahead, past the Cranks entrance.
Between the finish and start lines is the fuel zone, where participants must stay until the next lap begins.
For example:
You might finish your first lap at 7:45 AM, leaving you 15 minutes to eat a gel, refill your bottle, use the bathroom, or take care of other needs before being ready to cross the starting line for the next lap at 8:00 AM. This continues until you can no longer make it to the start line for the next lap. Each lap will begin with a bell rung by the race organizers.
Practical details:
Water refills and energy products will be available in the fuel zone.
Around lunchtime, pasta with pesto will be served, which participants can enjoy in the fuel zone before heading out for their next lap.
If you fail to cross the finish line or are not ready at the start line when the bell rings for the next lap, you are out of the race.
The participant who completes the most laps wins the race - aka the last person standing.
From 3:00 PM, you have 1 minut less to complete the round, for every hour until the end.

6:50 AM: Race briefing.
7:00 AM: The race begins!
7:00 AM–??:??: Race continues.
