SMART Weekly UpdateThe nomination deadline has passed. The post with the full slate of nominees and their bios will be linked in the comments.
The final monthly general meeting of SMART will be held Saturday, August 23 at 3:00 p.m. at the Belleville Public Library. On the agenda so far:
• Voting on the Board of Stewards
• Discussion of ongoing SMART projects
• Review of developing projects discussed at the last meeting
Going forward, general meetings will be quarterly, while the Board will continue to meet monthly. Monthly Board meetings will remain fully open to the public, and procedures for public comment and project proposal submissions will be created.
Only the quarterly meetings will be counted when determining attendance for voter eligibility.
