With only 37 days until the first round of the Maitland Last Man Stands winter competition it’s time for you to get your team registered and ready for a competitive and fun competition with a great group of people. Test yourself in this T20 format against players of varying skills and ability.
The games are always fun with some great banter and entertaining cricket.
Players from Maitland, Cessnock, Newcastle and also Sydney competitions have played in the Maitland winter comp over the last few seasons.
It’s not too late to get a team registered and into the action.
Played on Saturday mornings during Winter at Johnston reserve(Mt Pleasant street, Maitland) this action packed format won’t take up your whole day.
Games go for only 2hrs and are 20 x 5 ball overs per innings.
8 players per team take the field.
Electronic scoring by the on-field umpire means teams don’t have to worry about having players do the scoring.
