Wednesday, December 17 is our Line Dance event upstairs at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8691! We’d love to see you! It's the last one in 2025, so c'mon out and dance with Diane & lots of fun, friendly people!Parking: If the lot is full behind the VFW, please park in the dirt lot across E. Main St. or behind the insurance company NOT in the police station lot.
Reminder: We are collecting donations for the Food For Kids program at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8691. There is a donation box inside the Post. The most needed items and approved food items are listed on the organization’s website, Facebook page and our page (see previous posts.). Donations can be brought to the VFW after 5pm daily. *** We’d love to fill a box during the Line Dancing event!
Times are tough for so many people right now. It's heartbreaking to think some kids are going hungry over the weekend when schools are closed. If you can help, please do. Kids in the program receive easy to prepare food items to take home on the weekends.
About Food For Kids: FOOD FOR KIDS is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization developed by our Washingtonville local community. Our purpose is to help supply children in need in the Washingtonville Central School District with easy-to-prepare food for weekends during the school year with an extension of the program during summer months.
