19 Apr 2025 will be our final home game for the season for the Kitsap Renegades HS boys’ rugby team at our home pitch on the football field View Ridge Elementary school.After over twenty-five years as the home pitch for the Kitsap Renegades, Bullpups, Bulldogs, Grenades and Lady Renegade, this will also be the last rugby game ever on this at View Ridge. Over the summer it will be removed to make way for new school buildings.
This seems like a good to time to celebrate the nearly 35 years of Kitsap Youth Rugby. The mayor, who actually went to View Ridge as a child, plans to be present. RugbyWA plans to have a professional photographer present to take pictures. The mum scrum will be honoring our graduating seniors.
I would like to invite any former player/families from the Bullpups, Bulldogs, Grenades, Lady Renegades, and Renegades, to come and watch our game. It would be really cool to meet and catch up with teammates that we may not have seen in some thirty odd years.
I envision this would be a great time to create photographic memories, such as the reborn mum scrum in tutus and cowbells, our coed teams, the girl’s sevens team in prom dresses for the formal match, meeting children and perhaps grandchild of former players. Perhaps have pictures taken of all the under the goal posts, by team, and as a group. We will a few dogs for the photos.
