Against the Grain Brewery will host a special “Last Call” farewell event to commemorate its final month as a downtown restaurant— while celebrating its ongoing beverage legacy and raising funds for beloved industry nonprofit APRON Inc.“Apron Inc has always been one of our favorite charity partners. From Happy Hours to Burgoo, we support all that they do as we’ve seen firsthand the difference they have made for folks in our industry — including some of our own. ATG is not gone — we will just be a few miles down the street making great beer! We look forward to continuing to support Apron in any way we can for many years to come.” — Jason Smith
While this event marks a farewell to the restaurant side—for now—ATG is very much continuing forward in beer and beverage production. In fact, the Last Call celebration will mark the long-awaited return of Bo & Luke for the first time in two years, including the rare opportunity to taste select vintage bottles from ATG’s cellar. As one of ATG’s most iconic creations, the return of Bo & Luke represents both heritage and future momentum. Additionally, the evening will spotlight ATG’s global brewing collaborations, including:
• Japas Cervejaria (São Paulo, Brazil) — Brazil’s first women-owned brewery
• Oslo Brewing (Norway)
• Schnitt Brewing Company (Tel Aviv) — whose partnership helped make ATG one of Kentucky’s only kosher breweries
Further Beverage offerings will include partnerships and special features such as:
• Larrikin Bourbon’s Fat Wombat Hard Ginger Beer
• Marz Community Brewing (Chicago)
• Delta-9 and THC beverage brands including Cannabuzz (Lexington) and ATG’s own ZAZA
Guests will be able to sample all featured beers, with select products available for purchase throughout the evening.
Local beverage friends — including Hop Atomica, Green River, Jefferson’s, and Monk’s Road — are adding to the celebration by pouring complimentary tasting samples, expanding the spirit of collaboration and celebration.
The event will include food and beverage specials aimed at carefully winding down ATG’s existing inventory as the business transitions to its production-focused location. ATG will be donating any unused food to Feed Louisville.
