The Lasseters Indoor Triathlon is a great way to compete in a triathlon without worrying about all the equipment. Plus, you get to compete INSIDE when it's really hot outside - which is such a treat. The event is time-based and the goal is to go as far as you can within the time limits. Here's how it works. You get points for as far you can go in the swim (10 min), on the indoor bike (20min) and on the treadmill (15 min). Points are then totalled and the winner is the one with the most points. You will have time to get changed between the activities. You will be allocated a start time on the Saturday 17/1/26 by email for the Indoor Triathlon on Sunday 18/1/26. The first wave will start at 6:30am . Please check your email for your start time. There will be no on the day registrations. You must register on-line.
SWIM
Swim as far as you can in 10 min (any stroke is allowed - you can even walk the laps if you want.). Only full laps completed are counted to your total distance. Points allocated as a percentage of 1000m (ie swim 500m points = 50)
10 min changing time to get ready for the bike
INDOOR BIKE
Bike as far as you can on the Indoor Bike (20 min). Points allocated as a percentage of 16km (ie bike 8 km points = 50)
5 min changing time to get ready for the run
TREADMILL RUN
Run as far as you can on the Treadmill (15 min). Points allocated as a percentage of 6km (ie run 3 km points = 50)
