Welcome to Maidstone Hackspace’s Laser Cutting Workshop!

This hands-on workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore their creativity, from complete beginners to seasoned makers. Whether you want to try something new, create a unique piece for your space, or discover the therapeutic benefits of creative expression, this session has something for everyone.

Design and craft your very own personalised Night light or mood map, perfect for walls, shelves, or as a gift. Our friendly team will guide you through the process using graphic tools, traditional design techniques, or even artificial intelligence to bring your ideas to life.

These workshops are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and Maidstone Borough Council, with the aim of:

Promoting the benefits of arts and culture to our society, economy, health, and wellbeing

Important Advisory: The workshop is held on the third floor of the Maidstone Community Support Centre, which regretfully lacks lift access. Therefore, we advise against applying if you are unable or find it difficult to climb stairs. We are working to improve this situation for the future.

Feedback: At the end of the course, attendees will be asked to complete a short survey to help Maidstone Hackspace gather feedback on the participants' experience.
