Every year, the LaSalle Council Boy Scouts of America have the opportunity to walk in the City of LaPorte's 4th of July Parade. With the support of our amazing Scouter and Friend, Jim Smeltzer, we have the opportunity to carry "Old Glory", a 40 foot wide by 60 foot long American Flag. This opportunity will be open to ALL Scouts across LaSalle Council to participate. We generally need 50+ Scouts BSA and Adults to carry the outer edges of the flag. Cub Scouts are then able to walk along supporting the flag from underneath.
Additional details will be shared as we get closer to the date of the parade.
