Explore and appreciate the many ways black entertainers have shaped culture. This show does not expect performers to fulfill tokenizing tropes and expects the exploration of their individuality in new and exciting ways. Performers in this show celebrate aspects of themselves that often do not receive praise, bringing the focus on celebrating what makes us each unique. Sisterhood, community, and fellowship are on full display as hosts shower each performer with adoration. The goal of the show is to celebrate the acknowledgement, celebration, respect, and payment black people rightly deserve for all the joy, talent, and creativity they bring to the world.
