Dance Fees (all fees include $5 Scotdance USA fee)

Primary: $25

Beginner/Novice: $30

Intermediate/Premier: $35

There will be a $5 admission fee for all non-dancers over 12 years.

SCHEDULE:

9:00am Registration for all classes

9:30am Dancing begins

Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Premier will begin with the Lilt. Please come dressed in your national costume.

Primary will begin with Pas De Basques (please come dressed in your highland costume).

***************RULES AND REGULATIONS***************

• The competition will be governed by the rules and regulations of the SOBHD.
• There will be no refunds of entry fees.
• All dancers must present a valid 2022 SDUSA registration card with the new sticker on the back. Dancers without a 2022 card in hand on the day of the competition will not be allowed to dance.
• In accordance with SDUSA policies, dancers must not change costumes in public view. DANCERS MUST ARRIVE IN COSTUME with hair and make-up complete.
• The competition committee reserves the right to combine, split or delete classes at the close of entries.
• The decision of the judge is final. No persons other than the competition committee shall communicate with the judge.
• Protests must be made in writing, signed and submitted to the competition secretary before the end of the competition with a $30.00 fee. The fee will be refunded if the protest is sustained.
• Dancers must remain in costume to receive awards.
• Dancers will dance in inverse order of entry.
• Status changes must be received by September 11, 2022. Kristen Brimhall (702)372-8847 or [email protected]. Status changes will NOT be accepted the day of the competition.
• The competitor's age is taken as of the competition date.
• $5 of each entry will go to SDUSA
• Entry will not be accepted unless waiver and Assumption of Risk form is signed.
