Open to the Las Vegas community, the monthly Las Vegas Health Studio is a monthly event which connects Vegas locals with same-day health services and free wellness workshops. Hosted at the Foundation for Recovery's community recovery center, the Las Vegas Health Studio is not another health fair - attendees won't just walk away with pamphlets and resources - the goal is to provide same-day services, engaging workshop and classes on personal health and wellness, and family-friendly activities.
This event will be hosted the 3rd Friday of every month from 2-5 PM, starting July 21st.
Though the vendors and workshops at each event will vary, some of these will include:
- Massage Therapy with Northwest Community College
- Health Checks and Primary Care Services with Touro University
- Wellness Workshops
- Medicaid and SNAP Enrollment
- Yoga
- STI and HIV Testing
- Nutrition and Food Education
- Diabetes Education
- Career Services
- Dental Care
