Open to the Las Vegas community, the monthly Las Vegas Health Studio is a monthly event which connects Vegas locals with same-day health services and free wellness workshops. Hosted at the Foundation for Recovery's community recovery center, the Las Vegas Health Studio is not another health fair - attendees won't just walk away with pamphlets and resources - the goal is to provide same-day services, engaging workshop and classes on personal health and wellness, and family-friendly activities.This event, hosted at Foundation for Recovery on the third Friday of every month, is occurring in partnership with multiple community vendors and organizers to provide direct health services to those in need.
Though the vendors and workshops at each event will vary, some of these will include:
-Health Checks and Primary Care Services with Tuoro University Medical
-Wellness Workshops
-Yoga
-STI and HIV Testing
-Nutrition and Food Education
-Diabetes Education
-Career Services
-Massage Therapy with Northwest Community College
-Connection to Health Insurance
-Dental Care
We will also have vendors selling aromatherapy products and healthy food options.
This event is free to attend and open to Nevada's community.
