ENG - SLAPPs: European and Spanish perspectives
The CASE working group in Spain, led by FIBGAR and made up of Xnet, Article 19, Greenpeace and the Federation of Journalists' Unions –FeSP, is dedicated to sharing information on SLAPPs, and monitoring national cases, and also to stimulate and promote anti-SLAPP initiatives and ensure effective and broad transposition that includes strong safeguards.
The event on October 22 aims to raise awareness about the phenomenon of SLAPPs in Spain and to lay the foundations for a debate on the process of transposition of the directive.
Las SLAPPs: perspectivas europeas y españolas
El grupo de trabajo de CASE en España, liderado por FIBGAR y conformado por Xnet, Article 19, Greenpeace y la Federación de Sindicatos de Periodistas –FeSP, se dedica a la puesta en común de información sobre SLAPPs, y el monitoreo de casos nacionales, y además a estimular y promover iniciativas anti-SLAPP y garantizar una transposición efectiva y amplia que incluya garantías sólidas.
El evento del próximo 22 de octubre apunta a concienciar sobre el fenómeno de las SLAPPs en España y a entar las bases para un debate sobre el proceso de transposición de la directiva.
