A celebration of life, death, and the dances in between. From the imagination of legendary Chicano band Las Cafeteras comes Hasta La Muerte—a vibrant, two-act theatrical concert that reimagines the Indigenous/Mexican practice of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) through music, dance, poetry and storytelling.
Follow La Catrina (Patron Saint of the Dead) on a soul-stirring journey though “life,” “death,” and “after-life” as she encounters the spirits of La Llorona, La Bruja, migrants crossing the border, and families who’ve lost loved ones.
With every performance, Hasta La Muerte itself is more than a show—it’s a ritual, a revival, a reminder that death is not the end, it’s a new beginning.
