Larry Johnson's groups have performed sold out concerts all over the country. Specializing in his hometown of Detroit's most famous genre, Larry has put together the very successful and popular Essence Of Motown, paying tribute to Motown artists of the 60's and 70's. With the addition of our female vocalists, Cande Rivers, Didi McFadden and/or Stephani Grace, Essence Of Motown covers the famous female artists of Motown such as Diana Ross & The Supremes, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, Mary Wells, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight & The Pips and more.
Performing all over the world with Grammy Award winners and actual former lead singers of The Temptations and The Four Tops have afforded me the blessing to stand onstage with these legendary men and perform all the classic songs the way they are intended to be presented to Motown loving audiences.
My groups recreate that same energy and authenticity to every audience we encounter.
