Over 50 of his songs have been covered by various artists He has recorded 9 albums of mostly his own material. In 1989 he founded “Larry Joe Taylor Texas music festival” now in its 35th year. It is now the largest independently owned camping and music festival in the lone star state. His passion is helping young singer songwriters develop their craft and many of these have achieved greatness under his direction Larry Joe is a rancher, husband , father, grandfather, Sailor, fisherman and lover of life.
