The Larry Itliong Day Festival is an annual celebration of Filipino music, art, education, and culture highlighting the life and legacy of Filipino farm worker, labor rights movement leader, and unsung hero, Larry Itliong. This FREE event will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Larry Itliong Village and Pilipino Workers Center headquarters, in Historic Filipinotown, Los Angeles.
With this event, we use visual and performing arts to educate, challenge, engage, and entertain attendees and viewers about Filipino culture, the narrative of the Filipino labor movement in the United States.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of activities such as a Farmers Market from Filipino Farmers, musical performances by various artists, an educational art exhibit, a Filipino food fair, live Baybayin Art (Filipino script), artisanal products, and art prints from local creatives, artists, vendors, and many more!
