The Larkspur Book Club is back!
How it works: for each edition of our book club we’re going to select one book we enjoy that engages themes of death, grief, or nature. We’ll announce the selection and give you time to read it before we meet in-person at the Larkspur Library for an enriching discussion.
This installment of Larkspur Book Club will meet Thursday, August 15, from 11am-12:30pm CST, and we we will be reading, "Being Mortal" by Atul Gawande. The Larkspur library has two copies of this book for check-out, but participants will be responsible for purchasing their own copy of the book if these are reserved.
The first 30 minutes of book club will be for tea, snacks, and mingling, then we will get settled and dive into a 1hr discussion of the book! Registration for this book club will be extremely limited, so make sure you reserve your seat early!
