Stroll the streets, visit the unique shops, and dine the eateries. Enjoy the colors and decorations of the shops and feel the warmth of friends and neighbors as you are greeted on the streets. This is a completely free event. We want you to bring your families to the Historical Downtown and have an enjoyable night with your families. While you’re also enjoying the fun festivities,YOU and your family is invited to join us for a memorable experience. The Lapeer Hometown Holiday Festival welcomes you, and it’s perfect for all ages. The festival runs the two weekends before Christmas. This runs the weekend after the Annual Winter Festival in Lapeer.
The Lapeer Hometown Holidays kicks in to full swing for two Saturdays and Sundays, starting December 14-15th and 21-22nd. The stores and eateries will be open for Holiday shopping.
Be sure to hunt in the shops for the Christmas Nutcracker. If you’re the lucky one to find him in the stores while shopping he comes with a special gift from the store you found him in.
Stop at Essential Necessities and Rocks to mail your letters to Santa in Santa's mailbox to get your return letter from Santa.
Come into Hummingbird House to get your special reindeer food to put out for Santa's Reindeer.
Christmas Coloring Pages, Christmas Selfie wall with props, visit with Santa, Cocoa and Hot Cider (this will be an additional cost) and much more. We will add to the event of the list of activities and the shops you will be able to find them.
