At Forest Rugby we believe charity starts at home. And this year we are expanding our charity program to include a junior specific event. We are reaching back to the 70s and bringing back our annual Lap-A-Thon in support Biala Girls Indigenous Hostel, Bushlink and headspace Brookvale. Each of our age group will run laps around the hallowed turf of Melwood Oval to raise money for our charity partners. Each participant can run as many laps as they like - 5, 10, 15, 50! To donate to a specific runner, select their team and then select the participant name to donate.
With 20 teams in our Juniors, we are hoping to raise $500 per team equalling a massive $10 000 to be shared between our nominated charities. There will be prizes for our top three fundraisers as well as a pizza night for the top fundraising team!
