The Lanterns, Lights and ‘Lumination parade takes place on Saturday 23rd November, and we hope that children from Eden Park Primary and Nursery School and their families will be able to join us. It is a really lovely event and the first time that Eden Park has participated and your support really will be appreciated. What you need to know:
- The parade starts at 5.45p.m from behind the Old Market House. We anticipate that it will be really busy so we shall meet in the main car park at the far end closest to the Harbour. From here we will walk together through the little lane which will bring us to the Old Market House. We will meet at 5.30p.m and will leave this area just before 5.40p.m
- This event is a family event; therefore, all children will need to be fully supervised by a member of their family. A few members of staff will be there to represent the school, but on this occasion, we will not be responsible for the children.
- The route walks along the Strand, onto Fore Street, Middle Street and back to the Quay.
- Children do not need to be dismissed by a member of staff as we will assume all children are accounted for by their families.
I am really looking forward to seeing you and using this as an opportunity to get a bit festive and excited about the upcoming Christmas celebrations.
