This area was important to the native community for generations. It was the site of Ft. Steilacoom in 1849, one of the first farms in the area, and the grounds for the Washington State Hospital Asylum. Many of the residents were laid to rest here but their stories go untold. Join us as we get EXCLUSIVE access to this site at night. We will explore, by lantern light, the grounds of the Hill Ward, the graveyard, the barnyard, and more as we uncover the stories that wove this land together and unravel the humanity from years of local lore. This is your opportunity to enter the park at night. There are TWO tour times.
