Lantern Making Workshop - Rivers of Light

Join at us for our free 1 hour workshops to make lanterns for the Rivers of Light Parade that will be held on Saturday 21st February 2026.
About this Event

Come along to 1 of our 3 lantern making workshops. Choose your time 1-2pm, 2-3pm or 3-4pm. Please arrive at the start of your time slot, no more than 5 minutes early. You will have 1 hour to complete your lantern!

Please book the number of tickets for the number of children making lanterns (there is no upper age limit!) example: two children with two adults would book two tickets as this is the number of lanterns that would be made in the session. We ask all children to come accompanied by an adult to help them with the crafts.

Make your lantern for free with two of our lovely local Newmarket artists, all materials will be provided, and bring your lantern with you to shine bright at our Rivers of Light Parade.
