We will hike the park at night with only the moon and lantern light to guide us. Meet at the McKinnis House where we will talk about the history of lighting and traveling at night. Afterward, we will light the lanterns and head out on the trail to experience what it was like to travel at night during the 1800s. While on the trail, we will look for interesting nighttime nature like constellations and owls. Each group will use one lantern during the hike. Litzenberg Memorial Woods
