Insight on how Finnish and Swedish affects our employment and integration process, and networking at Luckan's Art Exhibition opening.Being able to speak and understand a local language will undoubtedly have a big impact on our integration process - being successful on the job market, expanding our social networks, and making most of the people and culture around us.
Both, Finnish and Swedish are official languages in Finland. But what does that mean and how can we master either one of them? During this event we will give you an overview of:
• Different opportunities to learn Finnish and Swedish
• How these opportunities relate to your personal goals and objection
• Which language levels are expected from you - when and where
During a panel discussion with representatives of different organizations and international employees, we will talk about the effects of a multilingual workspace.
• How do companies view a multilingual workspace
• How can international employees build their career in a Finnish or Swedish speaking environment
• What can be done to support companies and their international employees to foster a multilingual workspace
• These and more questions will be discussed.
We would like to end the evening with a great networking opportunity, visiting together with you Luckan’s Art Exhibition opening by the artist Hassan Alkhateeb. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our spouse program participants and Luckan’svisitors – meeting new people while enjoying snacks, drinks and art :-)

IMPORTANT: Due to the current COVID19 situation we have a limited number of spaces available. The amount of participants falls within the current restrictions, and we will be providing both face masks and hand disinfectant to ensure we stay as safe as possible.
We highly recommend however, only to participate if you have received 2 COVID19 vaccinations.
