To celebrate that we have been hosting language- and culture events in Aarhus for 2 years, we will have a festive theme of salsa and latin american dance culture 💃We will have speakers talking about Caribbean dancing culture, and introduce the different kinds of dances.
Afterwards, we will have our usual language exchange, where we will invite you to share experiences and ask questions about dancing culture, while still practicing your Spanish or Danish 🗣️ Afterwards, we invite you to join us for a salsa lesson led by our volunteers. We will on the top floor, where we will greet you with something to drink and good music☕
We are looking forward to celebrating 2 years of cultural encounters and language exchange organized by the central america committee, and our lovely volunteers🫶

What is MAK (Mellemamerika Komiteen)

The Central America Committee (MAK) is an NGO-solidarity organization. We want to create an active solidarity community with the people from Central America: therefore, we actively support the struggle for social justice, self-determination, and human rights.
We prioritize collaborating directly with political and popular movements. For the past 45 years, we have worked with farmers' movements, trade unions, women's organizations, and youth organizations, all working to strengthen the social and political conditions of the poor majority.
