Immersive Landscape Photography
Sunday April 27, 2025
2:00PM - 5:00 PM
Participants should own a DSLR or a Mirrorless camera.
We will meet in the Rose Room at 2:00 PM for an introduction and go over some landscape photo basics. In addition to the normal rules of composition, we will discuss the relationship of forms within a frame and how to control them in-camera. We will talk about creating a scene that invites the viewer into it.
Then we will visit some locations within the gardens and demonstrate the techniques outlined in the class.
Returning to the Rose Room we will look at some of your photos of the day. Constructive critique is probably the most valuable experience for any photographer. This session will also show how to bring your photos to their maximum visual quality using computer’s post processing.
Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before or after class.
