Georgia Country Music Hall of Fame Horizon Award WinnerLandon Fitzpatrick is a banjo player, songwriter, and singer from the small North Georgia town of Chickamauga. Landon started playing banjo at age 11 and began gaining experience on some of bluegrass music’s biggest stages at the age of 15, when he began touring and performing professionally with Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers. After touring with Larry Efaw, Landon returned home to complete his education and soon formed The Landon Fitzpatrick Band. The group performed all over the Tennessee Valley until 2017, when Landon went back on the road with Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers. In 2019, Landon was asked to join Ralph Stanley II as a Clinch Mountain Boy. He accepted the offer and traveled and toured with Ralph Stanley II for almost five years before returning home to revive his lifelong dream of starting his own band comprised of his original songs and music, resurrecting the current band, The Landon Fitzpatrick Band.
